A townhome inspection looks at the interior systems and components you are responsible for, along with the areas commonly maintained by the HOA when they are visible. I check the roof from the ground or accessible points, shared walls, fire separation, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, structure, and the interior rooms. You receive a clear digital report with photos and recommendations based on what I can access and what the HOA maintains.
A condo inspection focuses on the interior of your unit and the systems you are responsible for as the owner. I inspect the electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, windows, doors, structure where visible, and all interior rooms. Exterior and common areas maintained by the HOA are noted when visible. You receive a digital report with photos that explains the condition of your unit and any recommended repairs or safety items.
